Job description

We also have an in-house team dedicated to producing high-standard technical bids and comprehensive and competitive commercial tenders.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our Commercial team for upcoming construction projects in Dubai. The role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and controlling project costs to ensure financial efficiency and budget compliance. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, and Site Teams to provide accurate financial oversight and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing project budgets and cost plans based on design, scope, and BOQ.
Track and control project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Identify cost variances and propose corrective actions.
Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, and financial forecasts.
Review and evaluate variations, change orders, and claims.
Collaborate with teams to validate cost data and maintain documentation.
Ensure financial compliance and support project audit and reconciliation activities.

Job requirements
Requirements
High School or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry.
Proven background in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost management.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost management tools (e.g., Primavera).
Excellent knowledge of project cost monitoring, variance analysis, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
Understanding of change/variation management and cost reconciliation processes.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and numerical aptitude.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Detail-oriented with a results-driven and accountable work ethic.
Adaptable and proactive in identifying cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
