Al Saqer Propert Management is a real estate arm of United AlSaqer Group L.L.C. ASPM manage and lease properties in the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and overseas. Our development projects continue to provide quality residential, commercial and retail space at affordable prices which appeal to a broad range of customers. 

We are looking for a Cost Controller to join our Finance team. This role ensures that company operations, projects, and activities are executed within approved budgets while maintaining cost efficiency and profitability. The Cost Controller will play a vital role in monitoring, analyzing, and controlling costs to optimize resource utilization and minimize unnecessary expenditures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage cost estimates and budgets for projects and operations.

  • Monitor and control costs to ensure alignment with budgetary limits.

  • Assist in annual and project-specific budget preparation.

  • Track project costs and expenditures to match budget forecasts.

  • Prepare regular cost reports for management, highlighting variances and trends.

  • Conduct cost breakdowns to identify cost drivers and potential savings.

  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual costs with budgeted figures.

  • Assist in forecasting future costs based on historical data and project timelines.

  • Monitor inventory levels and usage, ensuring efficient procurement.

  • Support internal audits by providing cost-related documentation.

  • Work with procurement teams to control material costs and prevent waste.

Job requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting Certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Oracle experience preferred)
Technical Skills: Oracle, MS Office (Excel), and financial systems
Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
