In this role you will have the opportunity:

To undertake the overall responsibility of the entire operations in the Remittance /money transfer company including guiding, leading & overseeing the day to day work activities of staff working in the firm


Your responsibilities:

  • Development of sales & profit targets and objectives to support the business and its operations /expansion, taking into consideration the economic conditions and other factors
  • Encourage the team to arrange new remittance relationship with Banks and Financial Institutions with local and International Banks and money transfer products
  • Provide compelling leadership for a team of professionals with the technology management
  • Allocate the available resources, reviewing progress of work and modifying the course of work if required to accomplish company’s target
  • Manage the research on both foreign and domestic markets, with the use of fundamental and technical analysis. Review reconciliation sheets and ensure that all sheets are balanced accordingly to the regulations and laws of the industry and Company
  • Be up to date with all the latest financial developments, not only with the country’s economy, but also with other countries
  • Improve and enhance the effectiveness of delivering its services to the Customers at a cost-efficient manner
  • Building and maintaining a positive relationship with its stakeholders (e.g. Shareholders, Central Bank, Customers, Vendors and Government Agencies) to support the achievement of its strategic objectives

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in remittance/money transfer Company, with a minimum of 5 years work experience as a Manager.
  • Proficient on dealing with the UAE Financial Regulators and Central Bank.
  • Current GCC Experience
  • Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills
  • Master’s Degree in Finance/ Administration.
