Job description
We are a veterinary practice looking for a registered nurse with enthusiasm for small animals to join our practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the activities related to veterinary nursing within the clinic area and the main helping hand of the veterinary team. The facility will offer several services, all under the umbrella of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the veterinary team and physiotherapist as required before, during and after the consultations.
• Leadership of nurses under his/her control.
• Customer services during the clinic consultations.
• Anesthetic nursing during surgeries (including induction and recovery).
• Surgical nursing.
• Admission and discharge of patients.
• Medical nursing.
• Catheter placement, blood draws, basic laboratory analysis…
• Radiology.
• Monitoring of the patients as required when they are hospitalized.
• Monitoring and checkup of the boarded pets as needed.
• Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Assist the management in protocols implementation when needed.

Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of professional nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Valid veterinary nursing license/certification with demonstrated expertise in clinical care and animal handling.
Proven experience overseeing clinic operations, staff scheduling, workflow management, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Strong skills in team leadership, client communication, and training, with the ability to support both veterinary and grooming teams.
