Job Summary

The ICT Network & Security Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and securing the company’s ICT infrastructure and network environments supporting CCTV, access control, and integrated security systems. The role ensures reliable network performance, cybersecurity protection, system availability, and compliance with industry standards while supporting projects, operations, and managed services.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY & BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud-based network infrastructures supporting security systems.

  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of networks for CCTV, VMS, NVR/DVR, and access control systems.

  • Manage servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and backup solutions.

  • Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Cybersecurity & Information Security

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Implement firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and network segmentation.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security audits.

  • Lead incident response, threat mitigation, and recovery activities

Security Systems Integration Support

  • Support integration of CCTV, access control, VMS, and PSIM systems with ICT networks.

  • Define network architecture, IP addressing schemes, bandwidth planning, and security hardening for security projects.

  • Coordinate with ELV project teams to ensure secure and reliable system deployment.

  • Provide technical leadership during system testing, commissioning, and handover.

Compliance, Governance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, client requirements, and local regulatory frameworks.

  • Maintain documentation for network architecture, security policies, and system configurations.

  • Support audits, client security assessments, and regulatory inspections.

  • Manage vendor compliance with security and ICT standards.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and develop ICT, network, and security engineers.

  • Coordinate with project managers, operations teams, and external vendors.

  • Provide technical guidance, training, and escalation support.

  • Report network performance, security posture, and risks to senior management.

Job requirements

To be successful in this role as an ICT Network & Security Manager, candidates should demonstrate advanced technical expertise in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and integrated security systems. The role requires strong leadership, system reliability, and the ability to secure and optimize ICT environments supporting CCTV, access control, and managed services operations.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT and network environments, including 2–3 years in a leadership role

  • Experience supporting CCTV, ELV, and integrated security systems within operational or project-based environments

  • Strong knowledge in network architecture, infrastructure security, and cloud/network technologies

  • Skilled in LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN, virtualization, servers, storage, and network monitoring tools

  • Strong cybersecurity background including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response

  • Familiarity with industry standards, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements

  • Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred

  • Exhibits strong leadership, team mentoring, stakeholder coordination, and vendor management capabilities

  • Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem resolution, and the ability to support complex technical escalations

  • Shows accountability, customer focus, adaptability to changing project needs, and ability to manage high-availability environments
