Job role
We are recruiting an Inventory Controller who oversees the accuracy, movement, and management of vehicles, parts, and accessories within the dealership or automotive group. This role ensures stock integrity, prevents losses, and optimizes inventory levels to support sales, service, and aftersales operations.
Your responsibilities:
Monitor and verify all incoming and outgoing stock of vehicles and parts.
Conduct routine stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Maintain optimal stock levels by analyzing sales forecasts and demand trends.
Support procurement planning by identifying fast-moving and slow-moving items.
Coordinate stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Liaise with sales, service, and parts departments to align inventory availability with operational needs.
Ensure timely updates to stock status for internal teams and management.
Assist in planning promotions, stock rotations, and showroom vehicle allocation.
Prepare and present detailed inventory reports for management decision-making.
Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements, adjustments, and transfers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
Ensure proper storage and handling of vehicles, parts, and accessories.
Support audit requirements and regulatory compliance related to stock.

Qualifications & Certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred)
High School or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in inventory control or stock management, preferably in automotive industry.
Knowledge of ERP/DMS inventory systems and MS Office applications.
