Business Unit: United Al Saqer Group (UASG) – ICT Department

The UASG ICT department provides comprehensive ICT services to a diversified group of companies, which operate in multiple business verticals locally as well as internationally. The vast majority of UASG applications and infrastructure are cloud-based. UASG core business applications run on a combination of Oracle Fusion Cloud (Saas) as well as (Paas).

The UASG IT organization is ISO 27001 & ISO 20000 certified.

In this role you will have the opportunity:

  • To administrate activities of the IT department
  • Coordinate all department correspondences, documents, contracts, completions certificates, signed off and archive them on digital as well as physical copies.
  • In liaison with project managers and stakeholders ,create project schedule, with milestones, due dates and estimates for those materials that are required and other resources, such as team members, which will then be submitted to management for approval.
  • Documentation of each phase of the project, as well as making summary reports that will be presented to the organization’s management team.
  • Document, track, approve and communicate all correspondences including but not limited to minutes of meetings and progress reports
  • Manage events, schedules, meetings, and associated correspondences
  • Liaise with other departments , companies , vendors and other parties to insure smooth progress of all deliverable on timely schedules
  • Communicate required activities of projects
  • Follow up progress on plans
  • Keep up the morale of team members and build relationships with them to develop a strong working unit and supporting their impact on the success of a projects and assigned tasks.


    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree 
    • 4+ years of experience in IT department in similar role
    • Experience in administrative operations
    • Excellent communication and time management skills
    • Experience documenting and managing Contracts, Purchase orders, Purchase requests, invoice, completions certificate and sign offs
    • Goal oriented personality that can work under minimum supervision
    • Proactive/team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Computer Literate (Project management tools like Microsoft PMP, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
    • Project coordination and project management skills
    • Ability to manage plans, and follow up completion of tasks on time
    • Self-motivated, Agile, team player, initiative & strong customer focus.
    • Flexibility, Agility and coherence
    • Automotive experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
    • Detail Oriented: Attention to detail is critical for this job
    • Dependable: Should depend and can work under minimum supervision towards completion of assigned tasks. Be able to handle the minutiae of the project’s management, and therefore, it’s crucial that the project coordinator is dependable and can be relied on to uphold their responsibilities without having to be micromanaged.
    • Should have great deal of autonomy. The ability to get things done is probably the biggest skill required.
