Light Vehicle Driver

 A Driver is a professional who drives parts/items around in an efficient, safe and timely manner. In addition to moving the vehicles within the workshop, maintaining regular cleaning services for our vehicles; you will also help us increase customer satisfaction by making sure the cars are safe and clean.

 Your role

• Driving parts / items daily to their desired destinations
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route
• Move new vehicles from location to location, without damage and whilst adhering to all current company policies.
• Maintain a 100% damage-free record. Timely report of all accident or incidents involving company property to Service and Reception Managers.
• Accurately maintain vehicle logbooks in accordance with company requirements.
• Washing/cleaning/fueling of new units; Scan and update the fuel date through the Fuel Management System.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a Driver in UAE
• A valid driver’s license in UAE for light vehicles - VAN 
• A clean driving record.
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods within UAE (Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah)
• Ability to lift heavy items or packages.
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma
