We are recruiting a Parts Executive who will be responsible for supporting the sales and distribution of spare parts by handling customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating with warehouses, and ensuring timely delivery. The Parts Executive plays a key role in customer satisfaction and efficient aftersales support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Interaction & Sales:
Handle customer inquiries (walk-in, phone, email) and provide accurate parts information, pricing, and availability.
Order Processing:
Prepare quotations, create sales orders, and follow up with customers on order confirmations, backorders, or delivery schedules.
Inventory Coordination:
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely picking, packing, and delivery of parts.
Documentation & Record Keeping:
Maintain proper records of all transactions, customer data, quotations, and delivery notes in the ERP or inventory system
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on parts catalogues, equipment models, and part compatibility for various brands
Warranty & Returns Support:
Assist in processing returns or warranty claims by collecting the required documentation and coordinating with the warranty team.
Sales Target Achievement:
Contribute to monthly or quarterly sales goals by actively promoting parts and upselling related items or service packages.
Job requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY & PREFFERED):
Bachelor’s degree in in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Business
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in spare parts sales, preferably in heavy equipment or automotive industry
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES (Technical, Behavioral and Soft):
Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of cars / heavy equipment parts and components
Ability to identify parts using catalogues or electronic parts manuals (EPC)
Proficiency in ERP/Inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic knowledge of warehousing and supply chain processes
