Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant to join our Finance team at IFM Facilities Management. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with UAE labor laws, and handling sensitive employee compensation data with discretion and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process employee payroll with precision and confidentiality

  • Maintain and reconcile payroll records and reports

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and UAE labor laws

  • Coordinate with HR and Finance to gather accurate data

  • Manage payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies

  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll

  • Maintain payroll systems and recommend improvements where necessary

Job requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in a similar role

Certifications: One or more of the following preferred;

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

  • Payroll or HR-related certifications

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent knowledge of payroll systems and legal regulations

  • High level of confidentiality and integrity

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software

  • Effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams
