Job description
We are looking for a registered physiotherapist with enthusiasm for small animals to join this newly established practice in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be in charge of all the wellness/physiotherapy area. We will offer several services in this area which include: Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy (TENS), Hydrotherapy, and Shockwave therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
• To be the guidance of the junior veterinarians and students in all physiotherapy, rehabilitation medicine activities.
• Providing leadership across the physiotherapy/wellness area, ensuring the provision of the best practice patient care.
• Treat a range of complaints, including spinal problems, joint problems and injuries to muscles, ligaments and tendons.
• Facilitate post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Devise exercise regimes for a range of conditions, from neurological conditions, to obesity, to preventative physiotherapy.
• Working with the General Manager to improve the strategies to manage the patient flow.
• Leading clinical standards and continue to build the culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies and procedures.
• Provide inputs to the general management in the formulation of business plans

Job requirements
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing physiotherapist or a similar role
Accredited physiotherapy degree and valid professional license
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient assessment
Ability to create personalized treatment plans and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Skills:
Patient assessment and treatment planning
Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques
Rehabilitation and pain-management expertise
Strong communication and patient-education skills
Additional Required Proficiencies:
Experience working with diverse patient needs
Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation
Familiarity with physiotherapy equipment and modalities
Commitment to ongoing professional development
