Job description

We are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to join our exceptional team in Abu Dhabi and be responsible for Contract Management, Cost Estimation, Cost Controlling etc. without compromising the quality of all products and services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

    • Prepare cost plans and estimates for projects at various stages.

    • Assist in developing project budgets and cost control strategies.

    • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.

  • Tendering & Procurement:

    • Prepare tender documentation, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and scope of works.

    • Analyze contractor and supplier quotations.

    • Evaluate bids and assist in negotiation and award of contracts.

  • Contract Management:

    • Draft, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts.

    • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

    • Manage change orders, variations, and claims.

  • Cost Control & Reporting:

    • Track project costs against budgets and prepare regular cost reports.

    • Identify risks and propose cost-saving measures.

    • Provide financial progress reports to management.

  • Valuations & Payments:

    • Prepare interim payment applications and final accounts.

    • Conduct on-site valuations of work in progress.

    • Certify subcontractor and supplier invoices.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

    • Support project planning, scheduling, and procurement processes.

    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying (post-graduate).

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and pricing.

  • Experience with FIDIC, JCT, or other standard contract formats (as applicable).

  • Proficient in cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, Excel).

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
