Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling vehicles and automotive products to customers by identifying their needs, offering suitable solutions, and delivering exceptional customer experience. The role involves showroom-based sales, client follow-ups, test drive coordination, and the achievement of monthly sales targets. The role is predominantly focused on the sales operations for our newly introduced Electric Vehicle — AITO.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

Customer Engagement & Sales

• Greet customers, assess their needs, and recommend suitable vehicles and financing options.

• Conduct vehicle presentations, test drives, and product demonstrations.

Sales Target Achievement

• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for vehicles, accessories, insurance, and financing.

• Proactively follow up on leads generated through walk-ins, calls, or digital platforms.

Quotation & Documentation

• Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales contracts in coordination with the finance and admin team.

• Ensure all required documents (IDs, payment receipts, registration forms) are accurately submitted.

Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain contact with existing customers for repeat sales, service reminders, and feedback.

• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the pre-sale and post-sale processes.

Product & Market Knowledge

• Stay updated on vehicle specifications, pricing, promotions, and competitor products.

• Attend training sessions and product launches as required

Job requirements

To be a successful Sales Executive, you should have excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to deliver an exceptional sales experience and achieve performance targets.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience (Mandatory & Preferred):

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Management, or a related field.

• 3–6 years of experience in automotive sales (new or pre-owned vehicles).

• Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Skills & Competencies (Technical, Behavioral, and Soft):

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in CRM and sales software (e.g., Autoline, Salesforce, DMS).

• Strong product knowledge of vehicles, features, and financing options.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing skills.

• Ability to prepare quotations, manage leads, and handle documentation efficiently.
