Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of pre and post contract administration for different contract types (re measure
and lump sum is essential), FIDIC.
• Preparing / reviewing the Bills of Quantities and maintain budgets, estimates, cash flow forecasts, cost reports.
• Prepare Letter of award, Contracts for the new projects in coordination with the project team Consultant and Contractor.
• Prepare variation order in coordination with Project Team, Consultant and Contractor.
• Verify and certify consultants' and contractors' interim applications for payment along with
monthly report and issue payment certificates.
• Ensure the projects deliverables, close out documents are received during project
completion,
• Prepare the project taking over certificate, release of retention and during DLC.
• Ensure to receive the deliverables prior to certify the Consultant payment certificate
• Assist in the close out procedure and prepare the consultants' and contractor’s final account
• Ensure completeness and validity of contractual requirements.
• Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements.
• Perform other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Participation in site visits & preparation of reports as directed by the project manager.
• Knowledge in PS and PC items review and finalization
• Studying the tender analysis report (Technical & Commercial) provided by the consultant
after opening the Contractor's price offers and recommending the most suitable Contractor
for the job.
• Team Player, due coordination with Consultant, Contractors.
• Reviewing and approving/disapproving the projects Interim Payments, Variations, EOTs &
Claims after a proper and detailed study.
• Review and approve the stage wise interim payment for the design stages to the Consultants
upon receiving the deliverables.
• Support contract execution, recording the commencement date, TOC and Contracts
administration
• Review submission of contractual claims, verify the validity of the documents provided and
prepare response against the submitted claims
• Initiate, draft and prepare contractual letters to the Contractors, PMC and/or other parties,
depending on the subject and requirements.
• Estimating costs for new-built, fit-out work, renovation, and refurbishment projects
• Understand contractual terms & conditions, process, scope of work, compensation schedule, and contract administration requirement.
• Possess general management skills such as the ability to act with integrity, use sound judgement, drive for results and focus

Job requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying / civil engineering
• Min 10 Years experience in construction, villas, buildings,
• MRICS is an advantage.
• Experience in cost management, contract administration, and tendering, particularly in consultant, construction, or real estate.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills, and proficiency in cost-estimating software and tools.
